STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO ORDERING YOUR AWNING
A patio awning is an investment which is likely to increase the value of your home, make the most of your outdoor space, provide protective shading from direct sunlight and best of all look wonderful.
We will help you design your perfect awning solution.
At The Essex & Suffolk Awning Company we will explain the different options available, and advise you on what will suit your home. Using our expertise and years of experience you can be confident you will be happy with your design, giving you the look you want, at a price you can afford.
We are a small independent business. We won’t give you a long sales pitch or keep chasing you. We are here to help, and support you to make the right decision to meet your needs.
Our aim is to provide you with a high quality product supported by high quality customer service. We treat each customer’s home as if it were our own, helping you to find your perfect awning
We are available for any questions throughout the process. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and excellent customer service. We can complete a first survey and discuss your requirements in as little as 15 minutes.

Initial Survey
During our initial communication, whether by telephone or email, the team will establish what kind of awing may suit your home, and whether we can help. We can then arrange a home consultation where we will show you samples, run through design options, opening mechanisms and fabrics. Measurements will be taken to allow a quote to be produced.
Don’t worry if you can’t decide exactly what you want at this stage: we can always cost up a couple of different options for you.
The estimate will be emailed to you. Once accepted, we will arrange a second pre manufacture survey if required.

Detailed Site Survey
If you are happy with our estimate, we will get in touch to arrange an appointment for to complete a more detailed survey where we can confirm bracket and mounting details, power requirements and any other finer points to ensure the awning is 100% perfect on installation day.
The final price will be confirmed and emailed to you as a quote. When you are ready and a 75% deposit is paid and your order is placed at our factory.

Delivery & Installation
Once your awning has been made at our UK factory we will contact you to arrange a convenient date for us to install. The remaining 25% balance is to be paid on installation date.
